Set amongst 66 acres of meadows, woodland and oak-lines streams, Coombeshead Farm is a restaurant and bakery set within a bucolic farm and beautiful five bed Georgian guesthouse - created by culinary stars Tom Adams and April Bloomfield in the heart of the Cornish countryside. Visit Coombeshead and embrace the good life: produce is either grown and reared on the farm or sourced locally and is then masterfully cooked, fermented, pickled and baked into mouth-watering farm-to-fork fare served to you by a charming team in a delightful farmhouse that you will want to return to, time after time. Stop for supper, for the night or treat yourself to one of the many courses on offer from bread-making to fermenting, as detailed here.
Founded by chef Emily Scott, the St. Tudy Inn is a Cornish gem where local & seasonal Cornish produce is celebrated with aplomb. Nestled at the heart of a lovely Cornish village, it is beautiful & welcoming in equal measure: it is the perfect place to while away the hours, whether at the bar with the locals, on the lavender-strewn patio or in the restaurant with a delicious bottle of wine created by Emily with her partner and winemaker Mark Hellyar in Bordeaux. The food is rustic & delicious, the wine is wonderful, the rooms are lovely & the atmosphere delightful. It is no wonder that the St. Tudy has just been awarded a Michelin Bib Gourmand for the second year in a row.
